Damn, I wish I could make music!
You guys put together some great sounds, congrats to all the volume 1 artists! I really enjoyed listening to the tracks….but:
An abstarct question:
Do you think musicians are ever sad that they can’t hear their own music like someone else? What i mean to say is, sometimes I pity musicians because they will never be able to feel what it’s like to discover and be affected by their own music.
Similarly to how an artist will never be able to see their own work without the influence of self.
Whoa…smoke that one!

Shit…an abstract question, abstract! Not abstrarct…dammit!

Thanks! I agree the music people contributed with is amazing.
To answer your question on my account, I will answer it abstractly:
I pity listeners who will never be able to feel what it feels like being affected by their own music.
When you start getting into it, making melodies that blends together etc, grooves coming along it can be a very uplifting feeling. That doesn’t mean it will be a good song though, or even uplifting the day after when you might think it’s shit. But it is nevertheless a great feeling.
Great question, I’d love to hear what other people have to say about this!
